It counts down from 25 and that's the entire feature. Everything else is refusal: it doesn't count your sessions, remember yesterday, keep a streak, or notice that you stopped, and when you quit early it says "Okay." and nothing else. The list of what it won't do is printed right on the page, and the code stores nothing anywhere, so the promise isn't marketing, it's structural.
